Sarah Clay draws on a wide and eclectic musical background: Medieval plainchant, Bach motets, Tango ballads, the Blues, and of course, The Great American Songbook. Praised for her clarity of tone and sensitive song interpretation, Sarah leads the listener into the heart and soul of each song, delivering an unforgettable performance. As one reviewer noted, “music is in the blood of vocalist and jazz flutist Sarah Clay.” Sarah has performed throughout New England, New York, California and Europe, sharing the stage with Charles Neville, Jane Monheit, Giacomo Gates, Karrin Allyson, Miro Sprague and many other talented musicians. A member of the music faculty at Holyoke Community College, Sarah also maintains a thriving private studio, inspiring her students to hone their craft, develop strong technical skills, and most importantly, tell stories with song.
Musician, composer, and educator Nick Kachulis performs music and presents cultural programs throughout Massachusetts, serving youth and seniors in a variety of educational and community settings. A member of the American Society of Composers and Performers – A.S.C.A.P, he has published over 50 compositions. Nick has composed for film, television and music production, and his music has been heard on ABC, PBS and HBO in the United States, and on broadcast television on five continents. A Creative Teaching Partner with the Massachusetts Cultural Council, his creative and educational work has been recognized by the MCC with a Creative Schools Award 2006-2010 and as a Creative Minds Tour Designee 2008. Beside his musical talents, Nick is a gifted and engaging speaker, captivating the audience with tales of history, culture, personalities and the inner workings of the music world.

Sarah and Nick know the stories behind the songs, and this colors and enhances their performance. How did they meet? When Sarah was looking for a new piano teacher, a mutual student encouraged her to call Nick. The rest, they say, is history.
